CREATION

The model and its accessories, if any, have been created with 3D Studio Max (2016 version)

The topology is made up of quads and triangles

The images have been created with the default scanline engine of 3D Studio Max (2016 version)

MATERIAL AND TEXTURES

Texture sizes are:

-character 2048x2048px

-helmet 1024x1024px

-cricket bat 1024x1024px

-cricket ball 512x512px

All textures are in TGA format

The character has 3 different textures for clothes and helmet:

-blue

-green

-yellow

RIGGING AND ANIMATIONS

The model has been rigged with 3D Studio Max Biped

We added a ponytail to simulate the jawbone, and a bone for each eye

The package includes 8 animations:

-non-striker idle (from the frame 0 to the frame 60)

-non-striker starts running (from frame 61 to frame 79)

-running loop (from frame 80 to frame 100)

-stops running (from frame 101 to frame 241)

-striker bats to run (from frame 242 to frame 269)

-striker bats to stay (from frame 270 to frame 297)

-striker idle (from frame 298 to frame 358)

-An additional file with all the animation added in a sequence on a single timeline through the mixer of 3D Studio Max (the intervals between the animations are pointed beside the name in the list below)

-T-pose

All the animations are in place

The animations have been crafted (no motion capture)

FBX

The FBX files of the animations have been ported with Autodesk FBX 2016

The bones of the biped are converted in dummy format during the porting from .max to .fbx

Please note that:

The FBX is used to provide interoperability between digital content creation applications, but unlike the original 3D Studio Max files, it can’t be edited in the same way because it doesn’t have the same features.
