We were invited to the first Italian event dedicated to Medical Communication.
Giuseppe Vitale and Mauro Banchieri landed in Milan to present the strategic use of gamification in healthcare.
At COME Forum, we introduced CurApp, our app that brings together care and play.
Through the app, the doctor sends the patient’s treatment plan, monitors adherence, and suggests daily activities to support a healthy lifestyle.
On the other side, the patient stays engaged throughout the therapeutic journey thanks to a gamification dynamic: “taking care” of an avatar representing the affected organ - just like the ’90s Tamagotchi.
Medical communication can therefore move to the next level: information, engagement, and loyalty—all through a single tool.
The main goals are two:
Strengthen the doctor - patient relationship thanks to closer, ongoing interaction.
Enhance the professional’s personal branding: not only appearing more innovative, but also “closer” to their patient network, whose wellbeing they can monitor continuously.
The project’s R&D involved the two core areas of our tech house: gaming and software. By strategically combining these strengths, we’re increasingly able to create innovative products that are both engaging, thanks to game mechanics, and effective, through real-time data analysis and monitoring.
In fact, we designed CurApp as a “place” where patients have everything at their fingertips: information, guidance, and their doctor’s support. Delivered through a fun, intuitive technology.sere.
